Whoop, whoop...23 minutes 35 seconds
Well I ran my 5km in well under 25 minutes- 23 minutes 35 seconds to be precise which I am delighted with. Absolutely loving the running at the moment- I am so thrilled to be back into it. I'm aiming for 3 gym visits per week plus an outside run. Fingers crossed that this will gradually move me towards my be ten stone something goal.

Heya, i am andan on mse. Just saw your post and wanted to say wow!! I am currently trying to get into training for race for life and did a 5km run the other day in 35mins. First time i have ran, but seeing your post has spurred me on to keep working on my speed. Well done you!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant work Lucy! Well done. I went for my first jog on Sunday and...I'M IN SO MUCH PAIN! It'll be worth it though xx
ReplyDeleteDannie I am doing the Southampton one in July. Looking for a sub-25 minute time. If I can do it, anyone can.
ReplyDeleteSiobhan well done you for getting out there. Actually getting up and doing it is the hardest part I think. When I started running I read somewhere that the first ten minutes is the hardest. At the time I though "Do people actually run for more than 10 minutes?!". It is so true though, once you get into the stride of it it's much easier.
I'm late to this party. That's a great time! Sign up for 3miles (just under 5k) with Sport Relief perhaps? I'm doing 6miles on March 21st. Http://www.mysportrelief.com/simplypaul ;)
